WE'RE GOING TO AUBURN!!
I'm not sure we can put our excitement into words, but we are SO excited about
our Game Day results. Everyone had such a great time competing for the first
time at the Emerald Coast B.E.S.T. competition.
We'll show you all the pictures very soon, but in the meantime, here are our
results:
The B.E.S.T. award is judged on the Project Engineering Notebook, an oralpresentation, an educational display or exhibit, a judges interview, spirit and
sportsmanship, and robot performance. Winning the B.E.S.T. award is
considered the highest achievement any team in the competition can accomplish.
Placing 3rd in this competition guaranteed us a spot at Auburn University in
December for the finals.
We will be up against 49 other middle schools and high schools from Alabama,
Ohio, Mississippi, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Tennesee, and Pennsylvania
when we compete in Auburn in December. This competition is so large that it will
span two days, December 7th and 8th. We can't wait to be part of it.
