StarDate 0709.29 - Week Three
Members of the marketing committee
meet to plan their sales campaign for
their pitch to the judges on game day.
The T-shirt design committee sketches
their ideas for our "official t-shirt of
champions". We'd love to show you
the winning design, but you'll have to
wait a few weeks. After all, we can't let
our competitors know what we're up to.
This was a huge week for our talented writers. They completed their research paper, which is a large piece of the Project Notebook puzzle. Eliciting cheers as it was read during our Wednesday wrap-up meeting, theirs was a job very well done. Now the bigger work begins as they pull together the thoughts, ideas, notes, sketches, plans, etc. from our Build and Design Team to document the SNS292 engineering process in their 30-page engineering notebook.

The Build and Design Team presents their prototypes and takes them for a quick "test drive" to see which will be the most functional design for their robot. They identified their design flaws, worked out the kinks and will be making some decisions on the final design this week.

The Pensione in Rosemary Beach
before rushing off to meet with Dr.
Runnels and his staff in Destin to
promote Engineering, Science and
Technology through our B.E.S.T.
competition. What an amazing day
they had as they strengthened their
presentation skills and garnered
support from key members of our
community.community.
Community Outreach team members
visited Rosemary Montessori Academy
to enlist the assistance from younger
students in making giveaways for our
presentation booth. They talked about
our Robotics mission to get the young
students excited about the technology
and science they will look forward to as
middle-schoolers.
